Flourishing Women LLC | Neurodiversity Affirming Support, Coaching & Training
Why Neurodiversity Matters
Neurodiversity is the recognition that human brains are naturally varied. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other ways of thinking are not problems to fix—they are vital expressions of human diversity. Just as biodiversity strengthens ecosystems, neurodiversity strengthens communities.
Yet most systems—schools, workplaces, even wellness spaces—are still built around a neurotypical standard. That leaves neurodivergent people excluded, stigmatized, or forced to mask who they really are.
Flourishing Women LLC exists to change that. We help women flourish by affirming their differences and we help organizations grow stronger by embracing neurodiversity at every level.
What Does Neurodivergent-Affirming Mean?
A neurodivergent-affirming approach means:
-
Respecting identity – honoring the language people use to describe themselves.
-
Rejecting deficit models – shifting from “what’s wrong” to “what’s strong.”
-
Centering strengths – recognizing innovation, creativity, and sensitivity as assets.
-
Designing supportive environments – building systems that work for all brains.
This shift creates belonging, reduces stigma, and builds healthier communities and organizations.
The Flourishing Women Model
At the center of Flourishing Women LLC is the Flourishing Women Model, a framework designed to support ADHD and neurodivergent women. It focuses on five foundational skills:
-
Self-Compassion – replacing criticism with kindness
-
Self-Awareness – understanding emotions, needs, and patterns
-
Self-Accommodation – creating systems and spaces that work for your brain
-
Self-Advocacy – speaking honestly about what you need
-
Self-Care – protecting your energy and well-being
This model is woven into every group, coaching session, and training we offer.
